Let’s suppose that life is a game.
It is so complex that we find ourselves living in a world with miracles, beauty and love, but also plenty of suffering, evil, and tragedies through out. Life is unpredictable, painful, and traumatic – but also healing, loving, and liberating (If we want it to be)
In this world, we have stories of old since the dawn of mankind as far as we can tell. The Traumatic game is a creative outlet for pursing real life goals and aspirations under threads of myth and folklore and embellishments of truth.
Become part of the story or read for entertainment at the bare minimum; while the author attempts to treat life as a game in real time – with rules to go by, experience to farm, levels to conquer and a storyline to tell. The site plays with a mixture of reality and fantasy to provide some insight and inspiration for the lives of many readers. All content will include APA citation, notes, and references through out.
There will be biblical and mythological elements, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, psychology, mental health, critical thinking, etc embedded throughout this content. Hopefully however, a typical reader can approach this story with an imagination and an open mind.
What is true and what is false? That’s up to the reader to decide.
You will get access to a lot of educational content, frameworks, literature, and other resources along the way while you contemplate.
The author is learning and experimenting in real time. So mistakes are expected once in a blue moon, but there will always be an attempt to rectify, edit, and build from them as new ideas, thoughts, and opinions are formed.
Figure out how to find success and purpose – in the wilderness of all places. Let’s jump into the unknown.
“You can debate about whether or not he actually lived and whether there is objective credible evidence for that, but it doesn’t matter in some sense because there is still a historical story; and so what you have in the figure of Christ is an actual person who actually lived plus a myth, and in some sense Christ is the union of those two things.
The problem is, is that I probably believe that, but I don’t know – I am amazed at my belief and I don’t understand it because sometimes – the objective world and the narrative world touch. You know, that’s union synchronicity and I’ve seen that many times in my own life.
And so in some sense I believe it is undeniable. We have a narrative sense of the world – the world of morality – the world that tells us how to act. It’s real. We treat it like it’s real. It’s not the objective world but, the narrative and objective world touch and the ultimate example of that in principle, is supposed to be Christ. But I don’t know what to make of it. That seems to me oddly plausible. I don’t know what to make of it partly, because it’s too terrifying a reality to fully believe. I don’t even know what would happen to you if you fully believed it. “ – Jordan Peterson

A note from the Author
Between August 26th and September 2, 2022 the answer I’ve been waiting for all of my life finally revealed itself and became clearer, in such a way, that all of my lifes’ pain and suffering began to make sense in regards to the call of the nagging voice from the depths of my heart – my subconscious – reaching for me in my dreams at night and my visions at day since childhood.
The number of examples of union synchronicity that had taken place through out the entirety of my life were as vast and expansive as the stars in the night sky – grains of sand in the desert – and a drop of water in the ocean. As a result, my inner skeptic finds it rather difficult to accurately recall most of these moments as they are undocumented.
I recognized in the days of that week that I was not going insane for bearing that cross and following this voice into the unknown. Upon realizing this, it became clear that I needed to document what was happening to me; so that I could not forget while contributing to some sort of collection of objective evidence.
Like Moses, I was afraid to go. Like Gideon, I asked for signs and confirmation. I feel so small compared to ancient and wiser generations before me, and academics greater than I. And yet, I still drink with the mad hatter and discuss strategies towards satisfying this calling; and I don’t even know where its taking me and how it will do so. All I do know, is that it’s started long before I could comprehend anything of the sort.
It’s beyond petrifying to walk and not know. But you continue to walk because you trust the process somehow.
Eventually I came across Jordan Petersons insight on believing in Jesus Christ, in which he used the term “union synchronicity” and down another rabbit hole I went. It is not my first trip to Wonderland; or my first attempt to get out of Neverland. I continue to grapple between between two wolves and ease into the cycle of dying and rising again. Growing up is inevitable, or we’ll be lost. Whether we like it or not, we have to play the game.
